At Elkanah House we live by three specific maxims: Learning Beyond Examinations, Loving Beyond Self and Living Authentic Lives. Our commitment to social outreach as a school, from Pre-primary to Grade 12 embodies these maxims in the most authentic manner and underpins our core values. 

At the Senior Primary, we embrace our greater community and each grade participates in at least one Grade specific social outreach activity per year, over and above whole school activities such as “One Day Without Shoes”. From collecting toiletries for the elderly, stationery and Easter Eggs for the underprivileged, raising funds for the SA Guide Dog Association, to putting together Santa’s Shoeboxes, our children go above and beyond to reach out to those less fortunate than them.
