HS Global Competencies

Technology will replace over fifty percent of the jobs currently in force and the need for students to develop an innovative mindset that allows them to see market gaps and develop solutions to complex problems is a critical competency. In this Knowledge era, information is easily accessible; Research Skills have thus become a vital part of the learning process.

Students need to develop the curiosity to inquire, then to interpret what they discover and present those findings to others. We help students to develop the Thinking Skills that enable them to reflect, to analyse critically and to respond creatively to new knowledge and problems that they encounter.

Social Skills are also vital when it comes to collaborating and leading, and need to be coupled with excellent Communication Skills. Finally, the skill of Self-Management is developed at school through the inculcation of self-reflection, an ingrained growth mindset and good organisational skills.
