What makes Elkanah House outstanding?Teachers who are well qualified and who love their chosen subject and age group; pastoral care of pupils to ensure that they know they are important and cared for; a wide range of cultural and sporting activities, combined with activities beyond the classroom. Added into the mix is a student body who are motivated to do their best, whilst also caring about their friends’ happiness and successes – and a leadership team who work hard to ensure that everything I have mentioned is as good as it can be!

Elkanah House is a well-established, values driven school with a Christian ethos; we have a strong identity within the community and our pupils are aware of their place and responsibilities within this fast changing world. We are forward-thinking and innovative and therefore we equip pupils with the digital skills that they need to be able to make their way in the world, whilst also developing the increasingly important soft skills and leadership skills.

At Elkanah house our expectations are high, and opportunities are plentiful; we believe that every child deserves the opportunity to grow, develop their own talents and be true to who they are. At all times we work together to grow each pupil’s confidence by both nurturing them and challenging them - intellectually, spiritually, socially and emotionally.

At Elkanah House we are all striving to Live an Authentic life; to Love Beyond Self; and to Learn Beyond Examinations!

Elkanah House has had such an overwhelming response to our Winter Warmth Drive that we will be continuing with the collection for the rest of July. There is such a dire need for Winter Warmth in our community, so if you can, please help donate warm blankets or clothes so that everyone can feel the “Madiba Warmth” this winter. We will be donating these care packages to the patients admitted to the Hospital of Hope intermediate care facilities, CTICC as well as Brackengate. #LovingBeyondSelf #TheElkanahWay #LiveLoveLearn
